अलीगढ़। बाबा साहेब का मानना था कि मीडिया समाज का आइना होता है, समाज के विकास में मीडिया की बहुत बड़ी भूमिका होती है, लेकिन बाबा साहेब को भारतीय मीडिया से हमेशा निराशा हाथ लगी। उनका मानना था कि भारतीय मीडिया ने सदैव दलित समाज उपेक्षा की है। दलित समाज को अपने अधिकारों की लड़ाई की अवाज बुलंद करने के लिए अपना समाचार पत्र निकालना होगा। बाबा साहेब ने अपने जीवन में मूकनायक, बहिष्कृत भारत, जनता और प्रबुद्ध भारत नामक समाचार पत्रों का संपादन किया। यह बातें पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. संतोष कुमार गौतम ने अम्बेडकर जयंती पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में कही।
मंगलायातन विश्वविद्यालय के पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विभाग ने गुरुवार को अम्बडेकर जयंती पर सुमंगलम हॉस्टल में गोष्ठी को आयोजन किया। गोष्ठी को संबोधित करते हुए डॉ. गौतम ने कहा कि डॉ. अंबेडकर सभी भारतीय के मसीहा हैं, उन्होंने भारत के निर्माण में अमूल्य योगदान दिया है, बाबा साहेब के द्वारा निर्मित संविधान से ही भारत को विश्व में खास पहचान मिलती है। यह संविधान ही है जो हमें विश्व सभी देशों से विशेष बनाता है। इस मौके पर विद्यार्थियों ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किए। मध्य प्रदेश से आए पूर्व छात्र संजीव कुमार ने कहा कि बाबा साहेब ने विषम परिस्थितियों में संघर्ष करते हुए सफलता हासिल की। हमें उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेनी की जरूरत है, कठिनाइयों से भागना नहीं बल्कि डट कर उनका सामना करना है तभी सफलता हाथ लगेगी। इस मौके पर हॉस्टल वार्डेन उन्नी कृष्णनन, अंजू कुमारी, पूनम संखवार, दीपक यादव, अंकिता, सचिन, सार्तुल, नमन, रिशिका, राची, दिव्या, नंदनी, स्नेहा सहित कई विद्यार्थियों ने कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया।
